The Pitch

“It’s like Blue Apron for local groceries.”

Overview

Little Local (LiLo) Grocer is a locally focused meal kit website. Users choose recipes online and have the ingredients bundled together and delivered to their homes. LiLo Grocer differs from other meal kit websites because the kits are purchased and bundled together on an order-by-order basis using stock from local grocery stores and suppliers. Businesses submit recipes themselves based on what they usually have in stock.

Monetization

Revenue is generated through in-website advertisements and a percentile service fee taken off of every sale. Users can also pay extra for premium perks, such as priority delivery, on an order-by-order basis.

Audience

The primary audience for LiLo Grocer is professionals with disposable incomes who are adventurous towards cooking but limited on time. Secondary audiences include those interested in supporting local businesses or making positive changes in their eating habits.
