Project Overview
In my role as a User Experience and Content Designer for Empower@Home, I undertook a comprehensive analysis of user research to derive actionable insights that informed the design of the website’s sign-up page and video player interface.
Additionally, I conducted a heuristic evaluation of the mobile app, which led to a strategic redesign that enhanced user interaction and visual appeal.
Beyond interface design, I created graphics for over fifty course session videos using a combination of Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Figma, tailoring each piece to align closely with the corresponding script.
Furthermore, I developed the dynamic logo animation for Empower@Home utilizing Procreate and Adobe Premiere Pro, adding a captivating visual element to the brand’s identity.
Client Overview
Empower@Home – an online therapy program for depression, anxiety, and social isolation among Michigan's older adults. At the individual level, this project will significantly improve access to preferred mental health services among Michigan's older adults, particularly those who are historically underserved (e.g., low-income and rural), leading to visible long-term improvement in health and quality of life. At the system level, this initiative will institute systems changes to support the sustainment of the program in the long term.
